Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies on the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering providers like new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency reported it truly is alarmed regarding the substantial amount of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some high number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office devoted to service the area daily. The service place established for intervention activities a higher inflow of probable beneficiaries, which makes it complicated for your Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more methods to allow the servicing of all prospects and maximize use of Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
